Unexpected Victory
On June 1st, Andy Ruiz, Jr. stunned the boxing world with a seventh-round TKO of champion Anthony Joshua. For the weeks leading up to the fight, Ruiz was mocked and ridiculed for his unexpected entry into the title fight. Most people didn’t know who he was, and his body type was not the normal, muscular build that one would expect of the heavyweight boxing champion.
